Back in 2016, I updated one of my posts about the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 compatibility with Mac OS X Mavericks so that my workhorse of a scanner can still be used with modern software without having to decommission the scanner and purchase a new one.

I hesitated updating Mac OS X beyond High Sierra on my desktop machine strictly to maintain functionality of my ScanSnap S1500.

With the recent release of ScanSnap Manager V7, Fujitsu now offers 64-bit software compatible with the latest versions of Mac OS X, including Sierra, Catalina, and Monterey.
